King's Car Stolen

Maine used to be the sort of place where you could leave the car doors unlocked at night. Our former governor hasn't heard that times have changed.
Police are on the lookout for a sports car that was stolen out of former Maine Gov. Angus King's driveway.

Someone took King's red 1990 Mazda Miata convertible early Tuesday morning while King and his wife were asleep inside their home, said Brunswick police Commander Rick Desjardins.

The car doors were unlocked and the key was in the ignition, Desjardins said. [Link]
