Maine's Watercolored Coast

You might recognize the name "Normand Chartier" if your kids are under 10. He has supplied illustrations for more than 70 children's books (including last year's Maine Marmalade). Now he has produced a book for all of us.

My Maine: The Coastal Watercolors of Normand Chartier is due to be released Nov. 15.
Here, the reader will find old farmhouses that grace tidal coves as no modern structure could; lobster boats whose curves and ruggedness match those of the shoreline along which they fish; and spruce-graced, granite shorelines found nowhere else in America. A treat for the eyes, My Maine reminds all of us of the treasures that the Maine coast has to offer. [Link]
Chartier is a resident of Brooklyn, Connecticut, but summers on Southport Island.
