Chester Greenwood Podcast

Conversations on the Road has an interview with Mike Blanchet about Maine inventor Chester Greenwood.
Chester hailed from Farmington in the 1800’s. By the time he died in 1937 he had some 130 patents to his name. He is most famous for having invented the earmuff. Chester is honored each year (first weekend in December) at Chester Greenwood Day. Mike describes the scene in Farmington and just what Chester means to the community. [Link]
Chester Greenwood Day will be celebrated tomorrow in Farmington with a parade, chili contest, and Polar Bear Dip at Clearwater Lake.
