Maine Mineralogy Expeditions

The owners of Maine Mineralogy Expeditions are looking for old mining equipment to restore. They're turning the Bumpus Mine in Albany into an educational site.
They already have plans to acquire a swing arm boom crane and a large track drill, [Seabury Lyon] said. The 1920s-vintage crane, to be transported from a coastal location, was used to pick up mining skiffs, or containers, full of ore and place them in ore trucks.

The 1950s track drill, which will also be brought here from outside the area, bored its way into a mine shaft.

MME also has hand tools, such as wheel barrows and early jackhammers. [Link]
The company has been offering tours of the 100-foot deep shaft for the past year.
