Lincoln Man a Powerball Winner

R. George Keegan of Lincoln showed up at the state lottery office in Augusta Friday afternoon with a Powerball ticket worth $800,000 ($560,000 after taxes). He bought his ticket at Rideout's Market in Millinocket.
"I am excited that anybody from Maine won, especially someone from in this area, the northern part of Maine," said Gail Rideout of Rideout's Market on Friday. "It’s given the town and the surrounding area a lift. We have needed it. We’ve have a very slow winter in the area, with the lack of snow and snowmobiling. Every business in town has suffered."
