Maine Jugglers Invited to White House

Maine natives Jason and Matt Tardy will be performing their TWO: High Energy Juggling show at the White House next month, as part of the annual Easter egg roll festivities.
Matthew and Jason's performing career started in 1994 as young teenagers in the small town of Buckfield, Maine when they presented some sketch comedy at a local community talent show. They were seen by local performing artist Michael Miclon, who noticed their natural rapport with the audience, and encouraged them to develop their talent. Not long after this Jason and Matthew accepted an invitation to apprentice and tour with Michael Miclon which lasted six years.

The apprenticeship opened many doors including the opportunity to train at the Celebration Barn Theater with Mime Master Tony Montanaro and world-renowned jugglers Michael Menes and Peter Davison. Later they trained and performed with the world's most highly awarded juggling troupe, "blink" which included Jay Gilligan, Morten Hansen, and Fritz Grobe. [Link]
