A Supremely Important Case

The first case our new Chief Justice John Roberts will hear on Monday concerns a Maine company. Workers first sued Barber Foods, Inc., of Portland back in 2000, demanding that they be paid for the time it takes them to don their work clothes and safety gear. The appellate process now has taken the case to the highest court in the land.

Barber Foods was founded in 1955 by Gus Barber, and processes boneless chicken breasts into nuggets, fingers, and entrées.
